Outside
There are two sun-drenched terraces for al-fresco eating, the larger terrace on the south facing side has a shady pergola, original pizza oven, barbecue and table and chairs.
The smaller terrace situated outside the kitchen also has a pergola. Making it possible to relax and eat al-fresco in the daytime.
Next to the house is an enormous bay tree with a bench underneath, providing welcome, aromatic shade on hot days.
The swimming pool measures 5 x 14 metres and is just beneath the house on its own wide, stone-paved terrace – out of the wind, and ideal for basking in the glorious Tuscan sunshine. The views from here are panoramic. For those who prefer shade there is a large overhanging fig tree to one side and umbrellas. The shallow end has steps the width of the pool, ideal for young children. There is a convenient shower with hot water, and for anyone who fancies a night time swim the pool is lit inside and out.
